Brake Tapper is a slot machine mini-game which can be found at 
OK Motors next to Carlo. Players can spend 3 
Friend Powder an attempt to win 
Caps which can be traded in for materials and exclusive rewards.
How to Play
There is a large button in the center of the slot machine that can be interacted with. Pressing the button will spend 3 Friend Powder and start a round.
When a round starts, a circular panel at the top of the machine will spin to determine the difficulty and prize for that round. Each prize level rewards different amounts of Caps, but the higher the reward amount, the faster the slots will spin.
After the prize amount is chosen, the first of three slot columns at the center of the screen will start spinning, beginning with the left-most column. The player must press the large button to stop the column and move on to the next. The goal is to match the character images in all three columns. The order of the images is always the same for each column, however each column will spin faster then the previous.
The order of the characters for each slot column are as follows:

Prize Levels
At the start of each round, a circular panel will spin to determine the difficulty and prize. Higher prize amounts will cause the slots to spin faster for that round.
If the panel lands on:
Big Win - Chance to win 30 Caps.
- Note that this does not count towards the "Big Wins" count on the Cap Trade screen.
- Huge Win - Chance to win 50 Caps.
Big Win - Chance to win 30 
Huge Win - Chance to win 50 Otherwise it will be a normal round worth 5 Caps.
Cap Trade
Players can trade-in Caps they've earned by talking to Carlo. The machine itself displays a list of rewards and the daily amount of coins + Huge Wins won. Only three trades can be made per day.

- This strategy centers around the fact that, due to a delay in the second and third column, the first possible panels to land on for each column are:
This means that only the middle column needs any real attention, as the first and third can be matched by simply tapping quickly until it stops. There are a number strategies to get the middle column on Isabelle. One way is by listening to the 'tic' sounds the panels make and pressing the button on the forth 'tic'. Landing on Tom Nook means the button was pressed too early, and landing on Giovanni means it was press too late. Note that on 'Huge Wins' it can be difficult to get Isabelle on the third column, due to the speed it spins at. So be sure to tap very quickly to ensure the button is pressed right when it's possible to. After some practice it is possible to win without looking at your device using this strategy.
