Winter Sports is an event held in-game from January 22, 2018 to January 31, 2018.

This event featured special winter-themed furniture, clothes, and an amenity which players could obtain through crafting and timed challenges.

All of the special event items required an event-specific crafting material: Snowflakes, which was awarded by completing requests for villagers, completing event challenges, and occasionally as a featured reward through Shovelstrike Quarry.

Event Challenges

These were timed goals which lasted the entire duration of the event period which rewarded Snowflakes and Leaf Tickets. The event challenges are as follows:

Reward Goal x 10 Complete 3 requests for visiting animals. x 10 Complete 10 requests for visiting animals. x 30 Complete 20 requests for visiting animals. x 10 Craft Figure-Skate Outfit. x 30 Craft Beanie with Goggles. x 20 Craft Snow Park.

Reward Goal x 10 Craft Figure-Skate Shoes. x 10 Craft Snowboard Pants. x 10 Craft Snowboard Jacket. x 30 Craft Pearl Tiara. x 30 Craft Mini Skate Rink.
