=Purpose= The cabin is an area that can be customized in the same manner as the [[camper]], although it is more functionally similar to the [[campsite]]. It can be customized with furniture and can host up to eight villagers. Only villagers that the player has unlocked and that have been 'invited' to the campsite can be hosted at the cabin. Villagers hosted at the cabin do not supply the player with gifts (excluding rewards from fulfilling special requests), but they do chat with the player and request clothing changes for friendship points. Unlike the player’s camper, the cabin cannot be expanded to fit more furniture. However, additional floors can be unlocked through leveling up.
